Cleveland Cavaliers head to the mountains to play the Denver Nuggets

The Cavaliers are headed to Denver to battle against the Nuggets to try and break this trying losing streak they’ve been in. The Denver Nuggets are going into this one with a brutal record of twelve and eleven (12-11); they are also in a slump and have lost three in a row. A key player in this game for the Nuggets is Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic who’s averaged twenty-seven points, eight assists, and eleven rebounds. Denver needs to turn this season around to even think about playoff contention, and are sabotaging Nikola Jokic’s opportunity to win MVP. They were on a roll winning 10 games, but out of their last five games, they have lost four. Then we have the Cavs who have a record of ten and fifteen (10-15) are dealing with multiple losing streaks since losing Lebron, they have been putting Cavs nation on an emotional roller coaster. Coming into this game, The Cleveland Cavaliers have lost four games straight and are also on a road game losing streak, which is at five. This is concerning because these are the stats the team is putting up at 100% health, and it has been like this since the beginning of the season.

This is heartbreaking as a Cavs fan seeing them go from a fighting team always in the spotlight and 2016 champions to a team with no life. They are depending on Jarret Allen and Andre Drummond a lot right now without Kevin Love and Larry Nance Jr. There are talks about Drummond leaving due to the team lacking chemistry on the court and needing to rebuild. Last season, Cleveland swept Denver, but this year I believe there is going to be a significantly different outcome.

According to the Point Spread, the Denver Nuggets are listed as favorites by 9.5 points. This game is going to be played Wednesday, 10, 2021 @ Ball Arena.

Oklahoma City at Lakers for a showdown in the city of Angels

Wednesday night, The Oklahoma City Thunder and The Los Angeles Lakers battle in out in the Staples Center. The Lake Show lead by Lebron James is on a hot streak dominating the West and The NBA with a record of nineteen and six, and they have been on a five-game win streak. Not all of their wins have been beautiful, but when you get down to it they are wins, and that’s all that matters; the Thunder would kill to have those wins in those columns. The Lakers are carried by Lebron right now as most Lebron teams are and that’s the best-case scenario, but with this excessive use and dependency comes fatigue…People are worried about LeBron’s durability. Yes, aging is a thing and injury risk does go up, but Lebron has played in every game, won a championship, and is the greatest player in basketball right now: so I wouldn’t be worried, Lakers fans. He’s played a total of ninety minutes his last two games and since OKC hasn’t been too hot it looks like he might get some well-needed rest time this game. I could definitely see James putting up a triple-double and the Lakers having a successful game, even though they are without Anthony Davis and Alex Caruso. Then we have the Oklahoma City Thunder with a record of ten and thirteen and coming off of a tough loss to the Lakers on Monday night when they blew an overtime lead, and they don’t want a repeat. This team fights hard because beating Los Angeles is a tough challenge let alone while getting to overtime, they do deserve some credit.

This season they struggle to finish a game in the final minutes by putting up low scoring numbers, like scoring only five points in the last seven minutes of play against the Lakers. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is their star who is putting up average numbers of 22.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists. He’s on the path of a hall of fame and is one of few players under 23 to average 20-5-5 in NBA history. But besides Shai, The Thunder are lacking on defense and are ranked twenty-fifth in points scored, so they need a serious turnaround if they want to be serious contenders this season and have a chance at beating the Lakers.

For this matchup, our pick would have to go to The Los Angeles Lakers to trump the Thunder and continue their win streak.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Phoenix Suns

The Milwaukee Bucks go south-west to Arizona to play the Suns in a Wednesday night matchup for the ages. The Phoenix Suns are doing better than years in the past with a record of fourteen and nine (14-9) and have won six of seven recent games so they are hot right now. The Suns were dealing with some injury issues in the case of Devin Booker and COVID difficulties as well, so they had a rough patch after a 5-1 start to the season. This Suns team in particular, is one of the deadliest teams in the NBA, and they are definitely playoff contenders. The backbone of the Suns is their defense they are fantastic at fourth in the National Basketball League for points allowed. This is a modern brand-new Phoenix Suns club, and they are ready to take on a high caliber team like The Bucks and give them a run for their money. The Milwaukee Bucks from the north are killing it this season with a record of sixteen and eight and there’s no stopping them.

They have been playing well recently and are in the middle of a 5-game win streak. Their last win over the Nuggets was one of the best this season who they beat by double digits. Giannis is always a beast for the bucks and someone to keep an eye on would be Khris Middleton. He put up twenty-nine points and is one of the more versatile players in the league. Both of these teams have a past where Milwaukee used to be the more dominant team hands down, but last season the Suns won at home.

Our Pick would have to go to The Phoenix Suns and the under 227 points, all can be done easily on the best pay per head software from www.AcePerHead.com.
